Does anyone else have "rogue" toys. You know they ones that start going off when no one is around? Lucas has this Melissa and Doug alphabet puzzle. When you put the letters in, it says the letter and a word. The darn thing only works about 10% of the time, but will go off randomly when no one is near it. The voice kinda freaks me out. Today it was repeating "S is for Star" over and over. I swear it sounded more and more angry every time it said it. Freaky!

on the same note... i hate toys that talk. i dislike myself for caving in and buying them for my son. they freak me out. and this is why... you just feel like they are after you....

We have a puppy that goes of randomly. It says things like "Red Nose!" and "Bye Bye!" Kinda creepy. He always makes me jump!
I have found that the toys that behave that way are usually low on battery juice. Try changing them and see if that helps!
We have that same puppy as ReaganF! Spooky.
We also have the LeapFrog refrigerator farm thing. For some reason (I think to attract the child's attention again), it will make the animal noise of whatever's in it about 2 minutes after Hannah finishes playing with it. Even though I know it's going to happen, it still freaks me out.
Both the puppy and the farm are designed to do what they do. Obnoxious!
