Lucas-isms and such
This was Lucas' way of keeping Pacey from getting his Oreo and goldfish. So creative.
1.Potty training is still going well. Hooray!
2.Lucas' new favorite show is Curious George. He's obsessed.
3.Play-doh is his favorite toy, not mine, but his.
4.Lucas will ask me in the sweetest voice ever, 'Mommy (or Daddy) you play _____ with me?' how can we say no?
5.Lucas enjoys singing while sitting on the potty. He usually sings his ABC's, Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star or Happy Birthday.
6.This morning he started patting my belly to get my attention.
7.Last night he asked me if his brother was ready to come out, yet. So sweet!
8.Since playing in the sprinkler a couple weeks ago Lucas has asked me EVERYDAY if he can play in the sprinkler again.
9.Lucas now calls Pacey either "Pace" or "Pacey Boy." They continue to be BFF's.
10.We have two robins living in our trees. Lucas is always asking about "HIS robins."
11.When Brian is playing Mario Cart on Wii and loses his race Lucas supports him by saying 'Aww, too bad.'

We went to our annual spring party with our playgroup today. Lucas had fun playing on the playground, decorating a visor and hunting for Easter eggs.

NO. MORE. DIAPERS.
Woohoo! I'm so excited to report that we no longer have to buy diapers, until July. :) Lucas is officially potty trained. He hasn't had any accidents and we have spent time at my parents house and at the park. He wakes up dry from his naps and we are working on overnight. Although he was still wet this morning he was significantly dryer then he usually is. He'll get there. He has accomplished so much in just a couple of days. He's a rock star!

Our little potty man!
It's finally happening!! Lucas is officially on his way to being potty trained. Last week we were reading one of his potty books and I finally talked him into sitting on the potty. The shocker was that he actually peed. We were sitting on the potty on and off for the next couple/few days. He would go every time. Tuesday we stayed home all day and went to the potty over and over. In the morning I was taking him every 45 minutes or so. Wow, was that tedious. He was staying dry, but wouldn't tell me if he had to go. I was seriously considering stopping the entire process because I didn't think he was ready. Then he woke up dry from his nap, this never happens, and started telling me he had to potty! Whoa! Since yesterday afternoon he has been in his big boy underwear, staying dry and telling me when he has to go. He now goes for long stretches at a time 2- 2 1/2 hours before needing to go. I was so incredibly intimidated by the whole process, but Lucas is definitely making it easy on me. The real test will be going out in public or going to playgroups. At home he doesn't have any trouble stopping what he is doing to go, but it might be a different story in a different environment. I am going to drop Lucas off at my parents house later today and run to the store. We'll see how he does. Fingers crossed, but I think he is on his way!

24 Weeks
I can't believe it has been 10 weeks since my last belly picture. I had a prenatal appointment yesterday and found out that baby boy is measuring 2 weeks ahead, just like big brother did.
Easter Egg Hunt
Here are a few pictures from the Easter Egg Hunt at our house. Lucas loved finding the eggs and he is still talking about it.

A Visit with the Easter Bunny
I debated over taking Lucas to see the Easter Bunny. I polled several friends with kids his age. I had a 50/50 chance it would go well. I showed Lucas pictures of his friend Will with the Easter Bunny. We talked about it a lot and decided to go. We waited in line for 30+ minutes and Lucas did awesome! Check out that smile!!!!!
