My good friend Jen and her family are moving to Indy. Jen has a little boy Carter. Carter and Lucas are good buddies. We'll miss them A LOT! Here are some pics from her going away party on Friday.

Lucas loves animals so we headed over to the fairgrounds for AG Days. He had so much fun looking at and petting all the farm animals.

Don't worry, we're still here. After Lucas' awesome day at the fire station our week went downhill, FAST! We put Lucas to bed Monday night with a fever and I woke up Tuesday morning sick as a dog. I have been extremely miserable ever since. I made a trip to the doctor on Thursday because I wasn't any better. I started some antibiotics and still am not myself or feeling much improvement. I am assuming whatever sinus related issue I have, the pregnancy is making it more difficult to overcome. I'm hoping by the end of the weekend I am better. Lucas has a runny nose and cough. We'll see by early next week if he will need some medical intervention. He is definitely doing better then I am, or at least acting like it. Hopefully, we'll have some pictures to post soon. Stay healthy!
Every year our playgroup arranges a tour of one of the local fire stations. Lucas and I have gone the past two years. He LOVES it. Today he not only saw the trucks, but he tried on some of the gear as well.
This week has been filled with outdoor playgroups and afternoons at the park. I have a sunburn and Lucas has windburn. We enjoyed it thoroughly and we are very sad that the weatherman is forecasting rain and snow this weekend. Here's hoping it doesn't stick around too long.
We celebrated St. Patrick's Day at my good friend Mary's house. The weather was great. I even received my first sunburn of the season. Hooray, for spring!!
Last week felt like spring and we LOVED it. Early in the week it was in the mid 40's and sunny. We broke out the sidewalk chalk and played in the driveway. By mid week it was in the low-mid 50's so we joined our friends at the park.
BOY!!! We saw our baby boy today. What a cutie! He was just a wigglin' and squirmin.' The doctor liked everything he saw and we are so blessed. I'll try to get some ultrasound pics scanned and posted tonight.
Daddy used some of his birthday gift cards and purchased Mario Cart for the Wii. He made sure to get two controllers so Lucas could play too.
These are Lucas' 2 1/2 year old handprints. These little hands are learning to do big things.
Lucas has really started to enjoy helping Mommy cook. I try to find easy tasks for him. Here he is sprinkling the cheese on our enchiladas.
We have our 20 week ultrasound on Tuesday. I can't believe I am almost halfway done with this pregnancy. I am very anxious to get a peek at this little babe. Do you think baby Faust is a boy or a girl? Please vote in our poll.
