14 weeks and bustin' out the stretch mark cream!

I was talking to Brian tonight and told him we need to start taking some belly pics. I was feeling bad that I was 14 weeks and hadn't done it yet, but then I realized that we didn't start taking belly pics with Lucas until 13 weeks. I think it has a lot do do with having morning sickness 24/7. Doesn't really put you in the picture taking mood. So please ignore my face/hair I just got out of the shower and it was 8:30pm. :) I tried to recreate the outfit but I no longer own that shirt. I still have the pants though. They were the only thing besides my scrubs I fit into my last month of pregnancy. I thought I should hold onto them.

Pacey came and sat down right next to me. He's so loyal.

So long cabin fever

Between the weather and my morning sickness we have spent more time in the house then I would have liked. Today we met my friend Mary and her 3 kiddos at Mega Play to burn off some energy. Lucas had so much fun and he was very tired when we left. Mission Accomplished!!!

Driving with Siena

Watch out for the crazy animals

Can you tell he is getting sleepy?

"Uncle" Joe came to visit

I love when "Uncle" Joe comes to visit. I get one wore out two year old and all I have to do is sit on the couch. Joe is always welcome in our house.

In his jammies

You may remember this post and this one. Well, early this morning I went to check on Lucas to make sure he was covered up and snug as a bug in his bed. I must have been loud or the light may have woke him, but he looked up at me, patted his chest and said "help, Mommy." I unzipped his jammies to find 4 paci's stuffed in them. You may see him on Hoarders in 20 years. Just sayin'.

Coloring

Lucas loves to color

Today's masterpiece is "daddy, an airplane and a snowman."
A little abstract, but I can see it. :)

This is Lucas' look of concentration. Look at the focus.

It could be in his genes

This is what remained of Lucas' cinnamon toast this morning. Can an aversion to crust be inherited?

Our funny little boy

Last night I wasn't feeling well so Brian told me go to bed early and he would take over Lucas' bedtime routine. We always put him to bed, then he talks for awhile and when it gets quite we go back in his room to cover him up for the night. Brian told me when he went back into Lucas' room he had to adjust his sleeping position before he could cover him back up. When he did this he felt something hard on Lucas. Apparently Lucas had unzipped his jammies put his sippy cup of water inside them then zipped them back up and fell asleep. What a weirdo! First his bowling ball, now his sippy. I don't know where he gets it.

Blog issues

I'm trying to revamp our blog. I'm tired of the same old background. I have been working on it for awhile now and nothing is turning out how I want. Hang in there, I'll figure it out today or tomorrow or the next day.

Snow Days

Today was Lucas' first time in the snow. I hate the snow and being cold so I put it off as long as I could. He had such a blast and it was very difficult for Daddy to get him inside. Most of the time he just wanted to eat the snow, but he did ask to build a snowman several times.

Lucas has a baby in his belly

For some reason Lucas decided to put his bowling ball in his jammies. I asked him if he had a baby in his belly and he said "no, I have a ball." Alright, then.

Coming this summer...

We are proud to announce that we are expecting baby #2 in late July. I've been feeling the normal first trimester fatigue and nausea. Hence my lack of blog updating recently. I am just over ten weeks and hope to blog more frequently in the coming weeks.
