Jam, but not the kind you put on toast

One of Lucas' new "hobbies" is looking for his toe jam. So gross, but so funny. Whenever he takes his socks off I watch as he spreads his toes apart and picks the sock lint out from in between them. I ask him what is between his toes and he matter-of-factly states "moe mam." Ahh, I love that kid!
I'll try to capture it on film. Priceless memories!

All Aboard the Choo-Choo Train

Because our little buddy is so obsessed with trains we spent Sunday at a steam train museum near our house. Lucas had such a great day riding and exploring. We'll definitely have to keep this place on our list of things to do every year.

The Apple Orchard

On Friday we went to the apple orchard with our friends (4 Mommies and 7 kiddies!). This was a great place because it not only had a huge orchard full of yummy apples, but it also had a play area and a petting zoo. The kids had a great time.

2009 Family Photo Shoot/Lucas' Two Year

Yesterday evening we met my friend Kate at New Buffalo Beach to take some family pictures and Lucas' two year pics. Once again Kate did an amazing job. Lucas was a little irritable, but by the looks of the pictures, you would have never guessed it. Here are a few she got to me last night. I'll share more as they become available. Thanks, Kate! You are awesome.

...there's not much else to do then sit in a lukewarm bath and eat a popsicle. Isn't he pitiful?! Our little buddy was not feeling well at all. I am happy to report that he is much better today. We were actually able to make it out tonight to take his two year and family pictures. Viruses are so crazy!

We celebrated Lucas' 2nd Birthday on Saturday with our family. Jim, Reagan, Riley and Caroline came from Iowa for the weekend. Lots of Peru family came up and my South Bend family came. It was a gorgeous day and we all had a great time.
