Some great sites for your Christmas Shopping!
Two of my very crafty and talented friends have opened up Etsy shops. What a terrific place to purchase those unique Christmas gifts!
My good friend Steph, along with her sister, have started making jewelry. You can buy anything you see here or have them custom make something for you.
Alicia specializes in infant and children's products. Her stuff is all handmade. If you don't see it on her site, just ask her. I'm sure she can make it! Check it out here. She made Lucas one of her tag blankets and he loved it! Happy shopping!

Ahh, toddlerhood......
UPDATED: After I posted this, I think the toddler fairy came and sprinkled Lucas with some "happy" dust. He has been an absolute joy! I gave him a little snack and his mood turned around. I can't believe he was just hungry. He ate dinner 30 minutes prior! Geez. We have been reading books, playing ball and chasing Pacey. Now it is time for one more shot of milk and off to bed for this little guy!

Our evening so far.....

Toddlerhood is rough!
Ugh! It starts....
The snow is here!! This was the scene when we woke up earlier this week. SNOW! I am not ready for snow. I just ordered my winter coat online last night. It should be here Saturday. I still need gloves and I just may buy some boots this year. I haven't had boots since I was in grade school! I feel like I am in the arctic. I hate the cold and snow and it is just starting. We have many more months of this. I'm praying for some global warming right about now!
The snow is falling....

Naked Baby!!!!
I debated about putting these next pictures on the blog. I wasn't sure if people would be offended or think it was baby porn. I hope not! If you think it is too much, let me know and I will delete the post. I'm pretty sure only friends and family view the blog.
If only we all could feel so comfortable with our bodies! Lucas is just a ball of chubby squishiness and proud of it! Look at that tush, those thighs and baby pot belly! I'm sure he will be mortified one day....
Posted: Please, Don't Feed The Animals
Pacey is usually sent downstairs when Lucas has his meals and snacks. Lucas finds feeding Pacey more entertaining then eating. When Lucas is done eating he will take Pacey his leftovers or crumbs that have dropped on the floor. How pitiful does Pacey look in this first picture? The second picture is even more sad because Lucas decided not to give Pacey the cracker and ate it himself! What a tease!
My First Pajama Party
Lucas and I traveled to West Lafayette on Thursday. Auntie Steph was hosting a Tastefully Simple party. The party was great & the food we sampled was delicious. Lucas enjoyed his first slumber party at a friends house, too. The boys played and the mommies chatted. Will even introduced Lucas to his playgroup friends on Friday before we went home. Thanks Auntie Steph and Will for a great time!
The boys eating lunch. Pretty cute!
I REALLY liked Will's tent

Fall Fun
This morning while I showered my Grandma took Lucas for their usual morning walk. Boy, I am going to miss that when we move out! I am totally spoiled by a live in babysitter! I love to take long, hot showers. When you have a baby, this is virtually impossible, unless I want to wake up at 6:30am before Lucas wakes up. I pick sleep! Anyway, when they returned from their walk my Dad was home raking and leaf blowing all the many leaves in the yard. It was so nice that I let Lucas play outside for awhile. Yes, he is still in his pajamas and has no shoes on. Get out the stain stick!!! It was actually about 57 degrees and sunny. The winter coat was a little over kill, but it was colder when they left on their walk.
Lucas had so much fun running around outside. Seriously, he learned to run today. He is fast and most of my pictures did not come out because he would not stop moving! Hope you enjoy what I was able to catch!

Hello?
Lucas loves to pretend to talk on the phone. He plays with our old cell phones and sometimes our real ones! When I am on my cell phone, usually to Brian, he will say "dada?!" So cute! He did a little chit-chatting tonight before bed.
"Hang on Mom, I gotta take this!"

Mmmmmmmmm.....Donuts!!
I don't give Lucas a lot of sweets. His birthday cake was his first piece of cake. I bought some Gerber Graduates Cookies for him, but he thought it was more fun to feed them to Pacey, then eat them himself. I don't give him juice, instead I give him fruit. Last night he had an early dinner and I decided to give him two cinnamon donut gems for desert. I think he was in sugar heaven! Check out the pure bliss on his face!
GOAL!!
Friday night I went to Marshall's and bought Lucas this ball pit. I think Lucas is getting bored with a lot of his toys. It seems to me that during this first year he has grown out of his toys as fast as he has grown out of his clothes! With winter coming up, we are going to be indoors more often and I thought we could use a new toy to help burn some energy! This ball pit was only $19.99! I thought that was a pretty good deal. Although, it is a bit of an eyesore in my parents living room. Hopefully, we will sell the house in Bloomington soon and Lucas will have a playroom in the new house. He really enjoys playing in it. It only came with 25 balls, so we may need to buy some more at some point. I taught him to put his arms up and say "GOAL!" when he plays in it. Yes, I know "Goal!" actually goes with soccer, but he can say it easier then "touchdown!" Well, he actually just says "ga!" but we get the point!
"Go, Colts!"
"Goal!!!"
Lucas' New Buddy
Saturday, Brian's best friend Joe came in from Chicago for a short visit. Lucas has had some "stranger danger" anxiety for the past few months. He was a little shy when Joe first got here, but it didn't take long for him to warm right up to him. Before we knew it Lucas found a new buddy and was always willing to give Joe a hug and kiss. It was so sweet!
