Christmas x's Three

We hosted a Christmas Eve party at our house for my side of the family since we would be with Brian's family on Christmas Day. Lucas got to open gifts from Mimi & Papa and Aunt Janice & Uncle Jeremy. Christmas morning was spent at our house, a tradition we will continue. Lucas had a great morning. We then made our way to Peru for Christmas lunch at Brian's Grandma and Aunt Carol's house. Lucas loved Christmas this year. We all had a lot of fun.

Christmas at the Elks

Lucas had fun with Papa and Mimi on Saturday. He got to watch a Christmas puppet show, have his face painted, get a balloon animal (he picked a doggie on a leash) and see Santa. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of Lucas and Santa because he was terrified and wouldn't let me step a foot away to snap his picture.

Fun N Fitness

Twice a month we head over to Fun-N-Fitness for open gym with our playgroup friends. Lucas has a blast running around, jumping on the big trampoline, sliding and swinging. Here are a few pics from last week.

In pursuit of the perfect Christmas card photo

Boy was this year a challenge. We had taken two really good pictures of Lucas and the Christmas tree. Then our memory card decided to crap out and we lost them. We begged and pleaded with Lucas to sit/stand with the tree again. Finally bribery was successful. Although I still don't think the pictures on the card were as good as our first ones.

A little too much...

...not enough

Let's try it with the dog...or NOT!

There's always next year!

Lesson Learned

I am so upset. Tonight Brian and I set up our Christmas tree took a few pictures of Lucas with the tree then my camera started going funky. I lost several weeks, maybe even all of last months pictures. We really have no idea what happened but when we try to upload them the file is said to be corrupt. We had taken several precious and memorable pictures of family and Lucas over the past few weeks. Brian is working on retrieving them, but they are most likely lost. Now I am really kicking myself for not blogging right away. I've learned my lesson. Procrastination can really come back and bite ya.

With a Capital "S"

Yes, I have been a slacker with a capital "S!" I promise to do better and get postin' ASAP. Poor blog has been neglected. I am ashamed.
