Our Family

Last year we scrambled to get a good picture for our Christmas card. While snapping pictures of Lucas by the tree something went wacky with our memory card and we lost a ton of pictures and our memory card was ruined. We used our old camera, but by that time Lucas was no longer willing to pose for pictures. Brian made the comment that next year we should have one of my friends with a nice camera come and take a picture. So, this year I asked my friend Amy, who happens to be our neighbor, if she would mind coming over and taking our picture. She is not a professional or anything, just someone who likes to take pictures, runs a blog (check it out) and has a nice camera. Here are some pictures that are not on the card.

Yummy!

We gave Jackson his first taste of rice cereal last night. He didn't love it, but he didn't hate it either. It's going to take a few tries before he realizes what exactly he is suppose to do with it. Tonight I had a hard time getting him to open his mouth. It had only been about 30 minutes since his bottle so I don't think he was very hungry. Here is a play by play, in pictures, of his first bites.

A post for the baby book

Lucas had his 3 year well child exam today.

Stats at 3 years, 2 months:
Height - 39 3/4 inches (75th percentile)
Weight - 36.6 lbs (85th percentile)

The Jackson

Jackson is usually not a thumb sucker, but he was ready to eat when I was trying to get all of Lucas' snow gear on. So after about 10 minutes of fussing I heard quiet and found this. Pretty cute, I think.

Lucas fell on a lego at playgroup and cut his eye. He insisted on putting the band aid on himself. After he looked at his handy work he said 'uh-oh, Mommy! I need another band aid. I have another boo-boo.'

I'm pretty sure he ate his weight in snow that morning.

Jackson at 4 Months...a little late.

Jackson turned 4 months old on Oct. 28th. It is now Nov. 4th. Oops!
He checked out just fine at his well baby visit on Monday.

Stats:
Length - 25 1/2" (75th percentile) - I think he gets that from me....haha!
Weight - 14lbs. 7 1/2 oz. (50th percentile)

He currently fits perfectly into his 3-6 month clothes, except his footed pj's which his feet are about to bust through.
For those interested Lucas was about an inch taller and 2 lbs heavier at 4 months.
