Fall and Family

Sunday we went to visit Memaw & Papa. Uncle Jimmy, Aunt Reagan, Riley and Caroline were also visiting from Iowa. Great Aunt Marsha came from Illinois too!

Swinging....yes, Lucas is wearing his pirate shirt again. We are getting our use out of it. We can only wear it for a month!

Happy Birthday, Carter!

Saturday we attended Carter's Race Car Birthday Party. Carter was even dressed up like a race car driver!

Lucas felt Carter needed help opening his presents.

This was Carters gift from Lucas. Lucas had a hard time letting go...

Fall Fun

Last week we joined several of our playgroup friends for some pumpkin decorating. Wednesday was really beautiful and the kids got to play outside. Thursday was chilly and rainy again, but the kids still had fun painting pumpkins and playing indoors.

The Pumpkin Patch

Sunday was the nicest day we have had in awhile. We took advantage of the great weather and went to the pumpkin patch. We were so excited because Daddy got to come too. He had been working really hard all week so he had to miss out on our other trips. We "wub you daddy!"

First "horsie" ride ever! Coffee was a very gentle horse.

Goats

Climbing...

Whew! Made it.

Getting ready to slide...

...right into the corn box!

the cow train

Three little pumpkins! :)

Back to the Air Zoo

Since Lucas' obsession with air planes continues we took another trip to the Air Zoo. We had a great day.

There were a ton of airplanes you could get in. We missed this part of the Air Zoo last time. Lucas was in heaven pushing all the buttons.

Walking to the other building.

Bouncing!

Aunt Janice wasn't feeling well so Papa, Mimi, Uncle Jeremy, Mommy and Lucas went to Bremen Bounce. Mommy looked at the times wrong and we only got to bounce for 30 minutes. We made the best of it. I think Uncle Jeremy had the most fun.

More presents...

Aunt Janice "Nanice" and Uncle Jeremy "Merme" came to visit last week. They brought Lucas' birthday present with them. He got a personalized autographed book, some clothes and more power tools!!!! He was super excited.

Children's Museum

I took Lucas to a local children's museum. It's main goal is to teach kids about the body and how it works and how to stay healthy. A lot of the stuff was for older kids, but Lucas still had fun.

Learning about eyes. Daddy is so proud!

Don't forget to brush!

He didn't want his face painted but gladly let the lady paint his arms.
An apple on one and an eye on the other.

He spent most of his time at the fruit and veggie stand.

See ya!

This was a game for older kids. They were pretty serious about it. Lucas...not so much. He cracks me up!

A Sunday at Memaw and Papa's House

Lucas toasted his first marshmallow with Daddy.

First taste

Holding his marshmallow. He liked throwing it in the fire the best.

Tractor wagon ride with Mommy and Papa

Lucas picked some corn from the field to feed the deer. He couldn't understand why the deer didn't come when he yelled "Deeeeeerrr! Coooooooooorrrnnn!"

Should we be concerned?

I was putting on my shoes the other day and asked Lucas to go get his shoes. He returned with my boots. Should we be concerned? I mean seriously, those boots do not go with that outfit!

Such a Stinker!

After Lucas put Pacey's food in his bowl, I ran upstairs to get some laundry. I heard some commotion and came downstairs to find this...

Chores

You're never too young to start doing chores, right? So far Lucas doesn't have many but he does feed Pacey everyday.

I'll have him vacuuming in no time!

A real swinger

Another reason to love Mimi and Papa's house is this new swing. Papa bought Lucas this swing last week and he LOVES it. I generally avoid the swings at parks because I can never get Lucas out of them without a major meltdown. He will swing for 45mins to an hour at a time. Glad Papa and Mimi are willing to push him that long!
