We had a great parent/teacher conference with Lucas' teacher a couple of weeks ago. He has learned so much in 6 months. She said he is a real pleasure to have in class and always follows instruction. He is academically ahead, but she would like him to work on his fine motor skills a little more. She suggested we buy him a dry erase board so we can practice writing and holding a pencil/marker. Here is his first family portrait and name. I was impressed. Lucas is also really into giant floor puzzles. He can do all three of his puzzles by himself.
