The 4-H Fair

We had a great time last Friday at the fair. We saw goats, pigs, cows, lamas and a sea lion show! We ate fair food and also rode a few rides.

Lucas is a HUGE Elmo fan. He loves to watch Elmo's World and gets so excited when it comes on. This is a video of his reaction to Elmo. He gets so excited all that comes out is gibberish!

A friend and a trip to the park

Lucas' friend Gabe came to visit today. He brought along his baby sister Joey and his Mommy Deb. I went to high school with Deb and she is moving to Taiwan for a year to teach English. After their visit Lucas took a long nap so I decided to take him to the park for some fresh air.

Jim, Reagan, Riley and Caroline came for a quick overnight visit on Monday. They cooked us dinner and we had a great time, even though it was way too short. Lucas and Riley played and played. He loved having his cousins at his house.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Taylor!

We call Taylor our "little diva" because she is the only girl in our group of two year olds. Like I said in a previous posts, we know 8 toddlers turning two this summer and only one is a girl. Lucas had a blast playing with his friends at her party on Sunday.

It is a tradition in my family to go blueberry picking. I was two months old the first time my mom took me out and this was Lucas' third time out picking...well, one of those times he was still in the womb. :)

It's been awhile...

Sorry for the lack of updates! I am recovering well from my surgery, still tired and sore though. We are so happy to have Memaw here helping us out. I am still on restrictions for lifting and driving. I have my follow up appt with the surgeon on Friday morning and hopefully he will be lifting my restrictions at that time. Here are a few pics of Lucas playing outside a couple of nights ago.
